Terms of Use

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Flink – File Transfer ("Flink", "the App", "we", "our", "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Flink is a file transfer and sharing application that allows you to:

  • Upload files and generate shareable download links
  • Set expiration periods for shared links
  • Protect files with passwords and access controls
  • Replace or update shared files without changing the link
  • Request files from others via secure upload links
  • Receive notifications about file activity (opens, downloads, expiry reminders)

Flink offers both a free tier and a subscription-based Pro plan with enhanced features and limits.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to use Flink. By using the App, you represent that you meet this requirement. If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you confirm that you have your parent or guardian's consent.

4. User Conduct and Responsibilities

You are solely responsible for all content you upload, share, or transmit through Flink. You agree not to use the App to:

  • Upload, share, or distribute content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, obscene, or otherwise objectionable
  • Share copyrighted material without authorization
  • Distribute malware, viruses, or any harmful software
  • Engage in phishing, fraud, or any form of deception
  • Use the service to harass, stalk, or harm another person
  • Attempt to circumvent security features, rate limits, or file size restrictions
  • Use automated tools or bots to interact with the service in an abusive manner

5. File Storage and Expiration

Files uploaded to Flink are stored temporarily. Each file has a configurable expiration period, after which it is automatically and permanently deleted from our servers. We do not guarantee indefinite storage of any file. You are responsible for maintaining your own copies of important files.

6. Subscriptions and Billing

Flink Pro is available as an auto-renewable subscription. By purchasing a subscription, you acknowledge that:

  • Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase
  • Your subscription automatically renews unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period
  • You can manage and cancel your subscription through your device's subscription settings (App Store or Google Play)
  • Refunds are subject to the policies of Apple or Google, as applicable

We reserve the right to change subscription pricing. Any price changes will take effect at the start of the next billing cycle following notice.

7. Intellectual Property

The Flink application, its design, logo, code, and all related materials are the property of Flink and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the App without our written consent.

You retain ownership of all files you upload. By using Flink, you grant us a limited, temporary license solely to store and transmit your files as necessary to provide the service.

8. Privacy

Your use of Flink is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your information.

9. Termination and Suspension

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to Flink at any time, without prior notice, if we reasonably believe that you have violated these Terms or engaged in abusive or unlawful behavior. Upon termination, your uploaded files may be deleted immediately.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

Flink is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the reliability, availability, or suitability of the service for any purpose. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure at all times.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Flink and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the service, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or service interruptions.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. Changes will be published on this page with an updated revision date. Your continued use of Flink after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Turkey, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
